Season 2012
We now offer Full Board and Half Board in our Bed and Breakfast place “Westerburen” in collaboration with fish restaurant and steakhouse “Brakzand” (for more information on the restaurant visit www.restaurantbrakzand.nl) and restaurant "De Tjattel". “Brakzand” is only 5 minutes walk from “Westerburen”. The kitchen of the restaurant is open from 4.00 pm till 9.30 pm. “De Tjattel” is only 4 minutes walk from Westerburen. The kitchen of the restaurant is open from 4.30 till 9.00 pm.
The possible arrangements are:
Full Board
In the morning a buffet breakfast (included in the overnight stay), during the breakfast you can prepare a packed lunch: sandwiches, a piece of fruit, thermos can with either coffee or tea and a soft drink from the fridge.
In the evening a three-course diner at restaurant "Brakzand" or restaurant "De Tjattel" based on the day menu. The extra costs of this arrangement are € 22,50 per person.
Half Board
The same as described above but without the packed lunch. The extra costs of this arrangement are € 17,50 per person.
Additional breakfast
Are you arriving with the first ferry from Lauwersoog (departure at 6.30 am each day excerpt on Sundays and public holidays) you can make use of our buffet breakfast.
The extra costs of this breakfast are € 7,- per person, if you make a combination of breakfast with a packed lunch the extra costs are € 12,- per person.

- The prices are in Euros per person per night and inclusive of breakfast and for an occupation of a room by two people.
General

The above mentioned prices are inclusife of breakfast, linen for the beds and towels for the bathroom
- The above-mentioned prices are exclusive of local tourist tax of € 1,40 per person per night.
- You can move into the room on the day of your arrival from 1.30 p.m. and you have to check out of the room before 10.00 a.m. on the day of your departure.
- For children till 3 years of age (overnight stay in a child’s-cot) the price is € 6,- per night.
- For children from 3 till 7 years of age the price depends on their age, under the condition that the overnight stay will take place in the bedroom of their parents (only possible in the larger rooms)
- In case of single occupancy, a surcharge of € 11,- per night has to be paid.
- The minimum stay is 2 nights, although sometimes it’s possible to stay for only one night, but only as a last minute reservation. In this case a surcharge is calculated of € 5,- per person.
- Packed lunch: During the breakfast it’s possible to make your own packed lunch, additional supplies will be provided, the price is € 6,50 per person per night.
- Pets are not allowed in the pension. On the other hand they are allowed in our apartments (apartment Reddingsweg 6)
- It’s advisable to take a cancellation insurance, mostly they have to be taken within a period of only 1 week after making the reservation. In case of cancellation the payment will not be reimbursed , unless it will be possible to rent out the rooms again.
- The easiest way to reach the pension is by taking a local bus with destination Middenstreek / Langestreek and get of at the bus stop Pension Westerburen. (second bus stop in the village) If you come by bicycle take the road along the dike with direction village. In the village you will find the local tourist information office (VVV) at your right hand side, after Hotel Van der Werff (left hand side) you turn left into the Middenstreek where you find Pension Westerburen at number 32.
